Quick and Easy: Resetting Your Xbox to Factory Settings

This guide will help you to hard reset your Xbox console to factory settings, as it came when you ordered it or you first bought.

Note: Doing this will completely clear all your games, settings, etc. on your console and you need to arrange all the erased settings all over again.

Reset your Xbox console in just 7 easy steps

Note: Before that make sure to backup all your console data in case of anything went wrong.

• Open your System Settings menu, select Storage

• Select Hard Drive.
• Press the Y button to open the Device Options.
• Select Format.

• Select Yes to confirm your choice.

• Enter your Console Serial Number or Xbox console id ( Click to know your console serial number

or your Xbox console id ).

• Select Done, then wait for the formatting process to complete.

After that, if you open again the console, it says to setup the Xbox console then you successfully reset your Xbox console.
